Content description:
Records management in the 21st century is digital, diverse and challenging. Constantly evolving technologies and shifting business processes pose serious issues for reliable management of records. New Zealand's Public Records Act 2005 is designed to meet these challenges. Archives New Zealand is also leading improvements in records management across the New Zealand government through its Continuum Recordkeeping Resource Kit, launched in 2003. This session will share our experiences and provide advice for other archives authorities that are planning to strengthen their role as leaders for records management across government in support of good governance.
