Abstract:

 

In the Information Age, there is an ever increasing need to provide greater access to records for people worldwide. The Internet and digital technology enable archives to provide such access. However, this effort extends far beyond the resources and capabilities of any one institution. To address this, the Genealogical Society of Utah, now known as FamilySearch, has developed a program that facilitates the fulfilment of these needs.
